I suddenly find myself to be a widow after 29 years of marriage. It has only been 3 weeks and I miss him deeply.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes our paths of today are somewhat dark. The dark clouds roll in and by and this bitter wind blows with a sudden chill and sorrow. The waves will grow very large on this journey, there will be turbulent seas and very dark nights when you not count a single star. But always remember that someone is asleep below deck who protects you, comforts you, strengthens you, and loves you! Peace, be still. He has an unchanging hand and a never ending supply of comfort for you. He has a plan for you, you have a purpose for His Kingdom. Be strong and hold on for calm seas are somewhere on the horizon, filled with sunshine and a warm breeze on our faces. Keep the faith, stay in the race. Always remember that God is ALWAYS in control and through Him and His grace we have a great reward. We have already obtained the victory!
