New Upgrades Completed after many hours! :D

OK I've found a bug in the new software. Sometimes when you click on a link to a post, it highlights the post but hides all the text.

If I can figure out any specifics, I will update or reply to this post.

Click on "TEXT VERSION" in the nav bar to view a TEXT-ONLY version of CF. Good for slow computers.

Erwin, thank you. New problem, and you aren't going to believe it!

You can only see the 'text-only' option in a graphical browser. It's isn't an option when viewing in a text browser. So the site is probably better on slow computers using graphics, but it still has the centering problem when viewing in text.

In text we get all the other links you have on thenavigation bar, but it goes "...Store Donate Search..." 'Text Only' isn't there!

I've been to many (many, many) boards in the past few years and I can honestly say this is the most original design I've ever seen. Not only that, I've come back to these so many times because the setup is gorgeous (along with the people). I love the changes. I found the design of the posts and threads odd at first, but that's only because I've never seen any other board do something like it. The drop-down boxes are loads of fun and I'm just really proud to support such awesome message boards. Your time was well worth it, Erwin. It's brilliant.

When I clicked the link to this post, the one right below it (mac_philo's post) was highlighted and the text invisible. However, when I scrolled up and down, it fixed itself.

I'm using Mozilla Firebird as a browser, and the pages are loading faster and looking smarter.

is there a way I can go back to the old forum look? is it supposed to show a box with your name, blessings etc and under it another box with the post? this way it makes it very confusing to read.

I have tried all the display modes under user cp/options and I couldn't go back to the old mode.

hey just a quetion, i have noticed that mine and a few others profiles have a black box... makes it difficult to read. Whereas others don't have this black background with black text.... I dunno if its a bug or what. Just thought I would point it out.

Hey the Upgrade is Great although because I am a newer member sort of took me a little by suprise. One thing though, you used to have a whole lot more icons at the bottom of posts like PM and Email and such that aren't there anymore how do I access them?

Until this upgrade we used to be able to turn off the "Reputations" option. For those of us with reputations "disabled," why is '10" still showing?

Say you want to PM or email me, you would click on my avatar, and a menu box will come up with some options for you. Or, if the member dosn't have an avatar, you would click on thier username.

That's on the left hand side now in a list of clickable things you want to display. These changes are nice, I like the drop down list that appears when you click on an avatar. So cool. I just love how this site has really improved since the last time I was here! I love the addition of all of the new discussion sections too!
