Dear All. I have just joined ChristianForums. To be perfectly honest, I have been debating on secular forums and found the experience wholly unsatisfying for specvific reasons. I am excited by the prospect of debating and chatting with fellow believers!

Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I really hope you will spend many hours here and receive a great blessing. Be sure to also browse the various Christian Denomination boards here. Perhaps youll find some old friends there. For sure youll make some new ones.
Navigating is easy from the User CP button. Also check out Armor (That is where you can build the little doll character you may see at the left of many posts) and Custom. You may also click on any persons name on the Left of a Post to Bless them, PM them or read their Profiles. You can also Bless someone by clicking on the Heart/Cross Icon and you can give someone Reputation (Repping) by clicking on the little Hand Icon near the top left of a post. The Reputation shows as the little green or yellow squares at the top right of a post. You "Rep" someone when you like what they said in a post, or on a special day like a birthday or Anniversary, or just for fun whenever you feel like it. If you wish top see who has Repped you, click on your User CP button and scroll down and you will see them under your Reputation click Tracker.
Blessings are the currency of CF. You get one blessing every time you post. You may also play games to win Blessings, or you can donate to CF via Pay pal or Credit Card and you get 1000 Blessings per US Dollar.
You can use blessings to buy a personalized avatar. Also if you wish to change the way anything on your posts looks, or want to build a doll character like at the left, it will cost you Blessings. Health stays 100% if you post about 5 times a day. If you dont post for a while, it goes down.
