New to CF

I was interacting on another site with a CF member who I thought was an honest Bible student and he asked me to check out CF. I have been a serious Bible student for a number of years (5 days a week, 6 hours a day for years), first ‘graduating’ an international Bible study organization, going into further study, teaching and assisting other teachers, and attending school for a Theology degree. I became frustrated that Theology was studying books written by men and not the Bible, although some historic information was quite interesting. I have continued in studying Scripture together with history, seeking out good teachers to stretch my understanding, and enjoy delving into prophecy most of all. These endeavors have led to greater understanding, a desire to share what I have learned with others, and most of all to hear other insights from serious Bible students. I hope to have meaningful conversation and learn from other Believers as I hope I can be an aid in learning to others, as well. God bless!

Am not quite sure what qualifies as free thinking in your mind, but since there are really all sorts of people on here, you should find a few at least.! I look forward myself to some fresh and constructive thoughts from you on a few challenges in understanding the scriptures.

I used ‘freethinking’ only because I don’t ascribe to any religion - only faith in the Most High and seeking Him through His Word. As the Pharisees called early followers of Jesus, I like the term Nazarene, but that gets mixed up with the church group that calls themselves the Nazarenes. I follow the man from Nazareth and try to walk as he walked. Amen!
