Is there a New Testament Mitzvot anywhere ?

Like Do's Don'ts... has anyone ever gone thru and listed em ? I'd imagine they'd end up being sorta similar, like a different view of the same thing.

If I may throw in my two shekels worth...

For the morning service in the Temple the priests were selected by lot to their respective tasks.
The Temple and Altar were cleaned.
The Sacrifice was prepared.
The Minorah was cleaned, filled and lit.
The Temple was opened.
The daily sacrifice was made.
The incence was offered.
Then the priests got down to the business of offering the sacrifices for the people, praying and offering praise.

This morning I cleaned myself and prepared to meet with my Father.
I entered His gates with thanksgiving and praise.
I re-lit His Word in my heart.
I opened myself to Him.
I offered myself to Him.
I asked for forgiveness, guidance and protection - and received them.
I then started offering the sacrifice of praise, prayer and intercession for all that I love and all that He loves...

Sound familiar?

so I thought maybe someone had gone thru and not only came up with the do's and don'ts, but also coorsponding references to the original 613.

Hi Nessuno

Yes, lots were drawn but still within family assignments. For example there was only one family that made the incense for generations and they are the only ones who have the secret recipe.

There is a site that was done by a Christian so I don't think they compared them to the 613 of Torah but you can check it out here

However please ignore the highlighted part below

There are 1,050 commands in the New Testament for Christians to obey. Due to repetitions we can classify them under about 800 headings. Strange many of them are from Torah and are hanging off the two greatest as Yeshua said, the first was in the Shema, the second the V'Ahavtah ( love your neighbor) how for example if you disregard the 10 could you even begin to love your neighbor? That would allow you to covet what is his, including his wife and fornicate with her committing adultery and so on.

But we really know that there was only one new commandment given, by Yeshua is that we love one another, the way he loved them. He died for them and for us, and we should love each other as he loves us. We are not the enemy, yet many times that is what the world see, instead of what they should be seeing , that we love one another, how else would we draw them to the Father, but by that love?

I do not know how new "love your neighbor" is when you read this verse...

Lev 19:18 "'Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

Like the Bible says... there is nothing new under the sun.
