New Testament in Qumran Cave 7!

This is so exciting to have archaeological evidence to shut up unbelievers and detractors of the authenticity of the Gospels among the Dead Sea Scrolls. While it's amazing to have all the Old Testament--with the exception of Esther--these New Testament fragments will show that the Gospels we're definitely written before 70 AD, and close to the life of Christ.

Of course these discoveries don't stop unbelievers from declaring these DSS NT Scrolls as "unidentifiable." What's more these Scrolls are all written in koine Greek, the same as the New Testament we have today!

The destruction of Qumran Cave 7 absolutely infuriates me! This is proof that there is a demonstrate international conspiracy to note only eliminate God as true but also His Son Jesus Christ/Yeshua Messiah. Of course what else can the haters of all good do? They want any excuse to stay in sin and unbelief! Ohh how they deserve to burn!!!

Are you sure these videos are reliable? Do you have another source for this claim? When were these found? According to other sources, there seems to be little to no overlap between the DSS and the NT.

Are you sympathizing with the other side? No one believed the Old Testament were written way before the Middle Ages until it was found at Qumran...are you saying you don't expect to find hard evidence for the New Testament? Only unbelievers wouldn't want the other half of the Word of God to be proven true.

This is simply not true (Septuagint?). We have writings from the New Testament era until now verifying their existence from when they were written, i.e., from the New Testament Era. I'm not sympathizing with any side; I'm sympathizing with the truth.

I don't want to mess up your thread, but I would like to see any corroborating evidence (something to read quickly; I'm not watching some dude's video) if you come across any because I agree with you, that would be very exciting.

Well I'll tell you that I didn't know about Qumran Cave 7 until today when I got curious and typed in "Dead Sea Scrolls New Testament".

Thank you. There is some unpublished material related to Cave 7. Maybe they will release more info? That would be cool.

I did find info regarding fragment 7Q4 and 7Q5 from Cave 7. Is that what the videos are about? Regarding 7Q5...

The bold letters are what exist on the fragment. One hypothesis is that this fragment is Mark 6:52-53. Maybe? It's not certain and the hypothesis contains quite a bit of conjecture, but who knows? The hypothesis is not widely accepted. Here's a detailed article on both fragments:

How about inconclusive? The amount of text is so small. See post #10. The computer searches are impressive, however.

Well we found the Old Testaments DSS in fragments and we're able to piece them together without a fight from most people...why is this now different for the New Testament fragments? I can't find any other text where they would fit into.

Watch this video of Lawrence Schiffman and pay attention to his body language and tone, it's clear he's very antagonistic against there being proof for the New Testament in Cave 7. The entire collection of the Dead Sea Scrolls have not been published and made available to the public...because if they were then why don't we see any public reporting and access to Cave 7???

They ran programs and couldn't find any other Greek texts it fits into. That's impressive.
