Revrobor,
The word Adventist does not appear on the front cover of The Clear Word Bible. It does not appear on the title page or in the Preface. The Preface compares it to The Living Bible and The Message. In the Preface, Blanco says every attempt has been made to allow the Bible to interpret itself.
This is a standard trick used by Adventists. They put their views out without giving anyone a clue where these thoughts come from or who is responsible for them.
There are two Adventist hospitals in the county where I live. In the lobby there are stacks of comic books pushing a Creationist view, denying the existence of the soul and denying the existence of a permanent hell. There is no sign that this is an Adventist publication.
I think more people should be aware of what the Adventists teach and why no one who knows their Bible can agree with them.
You only have to talk with Adventists on CF to know that no one can dispose of a Bible verse they don't want to hear faster than an SDA. They only care what their prophet, Ellen White, thought.

Hey Dale, FYI, to inform you, as sort of a constructive pun to your reply, They, SDA church, may not have Bibles with the word "Adventist" on the cover, likely because it may identify with other faiths, but they do have new study Bibles that are available from 3ABN with their logo on the cover.
I've seen Mollie Steensen (spelling?) with one in her hand during some of their TV shows. I inquired about the Bible and I was informed that they were in print and would soon be available with E.G.W. references, that was some years ago though. E.G.W. writings are the so called biblical standard for their faith.
