I believe the rules and laws the new government in China has or wants to put in place may do the country good.
But when something has been the way everything has worked for many decades, it does not change overnight into a whole new system. If someone has been persecuted by an entire nation and the government overnight says "Let´s stop" - the people and the system will not stop for some time.
