New old guy here

Hi there-

I'm looking for a Christian forum.
I'm retired, but keep busy, working with wood
Wife and I have lived in the mountain cabin we built for the last five years, but have recently bought a place in town
I belong to a few non-Christian forums, and finding them not so inspiring.

I gotta say, the format here is a bit inundating, but I'll forage a bit to find my way around.

Heh, I immediately put in some wrong info regarding my faith, and have yet to discover how to fix that (something involving a 'ticket', it seems)

Then I recvd a msg in my inbox from some sort of admin guy, but can't find a way to reply

So, seems it'll be a bit before I can contribute

However, I will peck away, see what transpires

We live by lake Erie and lake Ontario so we get a lot of snow sometimes as well. Just yesterday this happened all around us but we only got a couple of inches ourselves. That's lake effect, dropping feet in one place, and giving a dusting elsewhere often less than a mile apart.

Seems a nice place, a very nice place
A bit of a refuge from the typical websites of the world

Funny, the first thing I saw when foraging this site was NO GOADING!

Thought it to be oddly humorous.......for a Christian site
