Hello Progressive SDA folks!
I've asked to be added to your roster of moderators, and as of today, I'm happy to say that my request has been accepted. I've been 'lurking' around here for some time, so I'm somewhat up to speed with some of the key issues that surround this forum.
Please bear with me as I learn the ropes here and get to know all of you.
A little about me: I'm a liberal Christian, at least it seems like I'm a liberal, though I never thought I was before coming to CF. My home forum is WWMC (Whosoever Will May Come) but I do get around in a few other forums. My youth was spent as an Episcopalian, and my grandfather and father are both preachers.
I embrace the teachings of our Lord. I strive to accentuate the blessings in His words, and I avoid judging others for their beliefs. God has the only final word in judgement, as far as I'm concerned, so I'm not a fan of anyone who thinks they know with absolute certainty who is and who is not saved.
Evidently, that's one of the things that makes me a liberal.
I will try to be fair. I will seek to protect the members of this forum from harrassment. I will not judge anyone by their beliefs.
My PM box is always open if you'd like to speak to me about anything at all, however, I ask that CF issues be handled through normal channels. In other words, please don't PM me about posts you don't like; instead, just report the post and I will be able to work my stuff along with the input of your more seasoned mods, whom I hope to learn from as I go.
Thank you all for allowing me to come on board, and I hope that we will all get along wonderfully!!!!
