It's funny because one week before he was made a bishop, a parishioner from saint Seraphim in Dallas I met last spring when I was there visited my parish in Paris and told me they were about to have a new vicar bishop. Now 3 weeks later he's the new metropolitan !

Not to derail this thread, but they will be electing the new bishop for Pittsburgh either this Saturday or next (I forget which one, Nikolai could straighten me out on that one) and I ask that everyone keep that election in their prayers!
