New Member...

Hey all,

I'm LeeAnna (given name) but most of my friends call me Teni. I am 17, (just a few days ago) and am in my senior year of high school. I live in western NY, although my heart is in Canada with my boyfriend (we are very devoted and have plans for marriage after college)
i work every other week, and go to school every other week, plus work after work/school at a barn cleaning horse stalls. I dont currently go to church (I haven't found one that appeals to me, I study my bible on my own for now) I ride and train horses, and sometimes work with dogs. Other htan that, not much to me, just my writing... (fiction) ... and of course my truck, i love my Ford... umm.. i guess thats it.
I just wanted to say hi to everyone, give a 'lil intro of who I am.. what i do. I am hoping to find lots of fellow christians to talk with on here, get and give advice to, and perhaps find some peace in my often all too hectic life..

I know what you mean as far as the HECTIC life!! But you know that if you are REALLY ready to find some peace, amidst the upheaval, it's time to start church-shopping! I have done it a number of times, when I've relocated, and found that if I called & asked about doctrines, etc., first, I saved a lot of travel time....then ya just gotta GO for a few weeks & see if that's where ur s'posed to be! And yes, I know I need to find a church, I havent been home on a Sunday in about a month, so I haven't gone, I plan to soon, and will DEFINITELY find one in Canada when I go up there for college Just gotta find one that will accept me as is

Welcome to CF Teni! Hope you find yourself welcome here, I sure did! I have been seeing a guy from Canada for a couple of months now, he goes to the University of Calgary. It's really hard with the distance, and I'm sure we'll end up best friends, but he's great! Feel free to IM me for anything if you need it, take care!
