CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A little more about me......
I prefer VHS over DVD.
I'm planning a vacation to Italy which will take place within the next 5 years.
Most people call me "a thinker"
I'm athletically challenged.
I'm height challenged.
I love my family and all that that includes.
I only want to do one thing "not usually done" at my church, at my wedding, I want to do the waltz.
I want my wedding dress to have color, and my weddings colors are going to be black and pink.

Hey, Soul, it most definitely is annoying. People ask me what I love to do, and when I say, "oh I love to read." They ask me, "Oh, whose your fave author." That leaves me totally blank because I very well can't tell them I don't know! LOL Or they ask me what's the latest book you read, and I'll say Oh it was about.....................
It's completely a bother.
I seen Pride and Prejudice on A&E, but it was somewhat of a disappointment, however, it followed the book to a T.
Have you seen War and Peace? Oh, I just love Audrey Hephburn.

I can listen to someone talk for hours, just so long as they an accent!
I think the ability to judge and criticize should be surgically removed from out brains.
Whenever I need a word, it's then I forget how to spell it.
I've started a 90-day diet, and lost 80 days! (JK)
I find the past incredibly intriguing.
I sleep with the remote control next to my bed, and instead of looking at the clock when I get up, I check the news.
I don't know how to swim, I'm determined to learn, yet afraid to try.
I love saying phrases that completely confuse people like the saying I listed before.
I love reading books that don't make any sense until I pull out the dictionary and look up each word.
I would rather walk 1,000 miles barefoot with a friend, then fly first-class to Italy with an enemy.
I've a terrible fear that people won't like me.

Like Omigosh, I've been totally kicked to second page. Well I'm posting because.............I will survive..I will survive. Oh as long as I know how to post, I'll keep my thread alive. I've got about 20 min. to give, but a whole life to tell I lived... I will survive oh hoh ...............
