Obviously, I am new here. I´d like to learn from all You terrific people.

I am not entirely clear about the forum´s Statement of Faith though...
Maybe some kind Soul could give me a few pointers?


Technically, I am an Anglican. That is: I belong to the ´Diocese in Europe of the
Church of England :

Basically CF's SoF is the Nicene Creed the essential doctrines of historic biblical Christianity. If you have any specific questions just let us know.

Welcome! The Statement of Faith is just the basic Nicene Creed you find in the Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship, with the filioque being an option so as to accommodate Eastern Christians who do not use it and some ecumenically minded Anglicans and other Christians in the US who want to drop it (this will not of course instantly achieve reunification with the Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Assyrians, and most Eastern Catholic churches, which do not use the Filioque interestingly). There are a few other minor points such as only discussing some controversial theological issues in the Controversial Theology forum, and also we had severe problems with people denying the apostolate of St. Paul a few years ago. I don’t know of a Christian-run site with a more ecumenically oriented approach than CF.com.
