New Lounge.....How did you find us?

Welcome to CF and to our new lounge! Please make yourself comfortable and tell us how you found Christian Forums.

I do not recall how I first came about finding CF in 2013, most likely a Google search. At that time I didn't feel I was ready to enter into debates of Theology or be able to defend my faith, so I chose not to use the website. It wasn't until recently that I received an e-mail with a direct link to a forum thread about why so many atheists could be found at CF. It peeked my interest, and I came back ready to discuss God and my faith. I was fairly active in that thread until it was locked by a Mod, now I'm trying to find another similar thread in hopes to bring some of those atheists to the Lord.

Looking for answers regarding the Jubilee... One of the suggested searches lead my to CF and I have been here ever since... even discovered the Messianic Judaism Faith.

BTW Christian Forums has Tweeted a few of your threads, did you see?

A couple of years ago was searching for some scripture references and came upon several Christian forums, not just CF, and went on one where people with a hundred post were old timers. Put in a post in the new comers welcome zone and immediately got attacked just for asking how the site worked; understood why they had no old timers, cause all they did was argue; half the post in the site were old ones from people that were banded.

So the second site down was CF and though they had their squabbles, I decided to stick around for a while.

How long ago was that? Yeah we have been here since before most Christian sites and definitely before sites like Facebook.

It was just today that I signed up. I have only been a Christian since last December.

What denomination are you (or are you a regular non denominational person?)

I have posted on the Young Adults section with a member named Cute Tink on the Have you ever thread. Posted a little on the Singles thread, but I will probably not post much there because I am not even close to looking for a relationship or even talking about that sort of stuff right now. I have also posted a few times on the Blessing Exchange. Most of what I have been doing is messaging with other terrific members here. I attend a Pentecostal Church. I imagine we have a lot of members from many different denominations that go to the Church I attend.

Thank You, I looked at that section but have yet to post anything yet. I am a New Christian only accepting Jesus last December and haven't yet felt really comfortable jumping into threads that I don't fully understand yet. I just glanced though at that section so I imagine there is some posts that I can contribute to.

Boy everywhere I go around CF lately, I keep bumping into newbie's! Isn't there anything anybody can do with them? Can't somebody do something! Like say howdy to them all; and if you stay around long enough you'll turn into an Oldbie like me. God bless and cheers!

Thank you, I like the name "Raine" it reminds me of my favorite sunshine; RAIN! From the Greatest Northwest country "Oregon' where we call "rain" liquid sunshine; because, if you think about it, it's God's sunshine that makes the water evaporate, into the clouds which makes! Rain!
