  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I have always wanted to get a black cat and name it Snowball, I have no idea why, but I guess I am just that way. Our last cat that we got would have been named Dog if I would have gotten my way, but no they had to go and name him Sassy.

Though my most favorite cat name would have to be my late cat Fireball's name. He was the total opposite of his name. I mean after all aren't fireballs fast and active? Well my cat was fat, slow and lazy.

I like humorous names myself. I'd probably name it Scrappy II, after the black cat I once had. The resident black cat at our place is named Mr. Cuddles. My GF thought it was a she, and later found out it was a he, so the "Mr." was added. :D
I usually prefer outdated names for animals, ie. Herbert, Wilfred, Heathcliffe, etc.

Just don't wait too long--he may end up with the name "Kitty". Our calico had the name "Kitty" for most of her life (10 years) until we got another cat and we were forced to come up with a name to distinguish the two. We settled on "Callie", for calico.
