I have been here about 7 years and find there are quality members that are very knowledgable.
The 'prayer wall' has some serious prayer's.

There is a real mix of theologies -you can choose a forum that suits your persuasion.

I'm doing well. Hope you are too. It's supposed to be nice and warm today in my neck of the woods, which is unusual for March. 71°f is going to be great the next couple of days.

Warm weather is always a blessing.

I was supposed to go to Lake Erie tomorrow since it is a bit warmer here too - 50 ish I believe. However, my grandmother went to the ER today so I would assume our day trip is needing to be rescheduled.

She's okay from what I understand. She's still there. my Opa is keeping us updated (he is there with her).

I'm still very worried though.

Many times in my life. I've taken the ferry over to Kelley's Island on motorcycle, been on the lake fishing with my brother, been there just to enjoy the lake for an afternoon. It's fun to visit.

That's so cool! I've always wanted to visit Kelley's Island. Never have though.

It is. The island has a nautical feel, as you would expect. The way the houses are placed, the attractions. It's a neat place to see. I've only ever stayed for a few hours at a time, but I find the island life appealing. Definitely worth a visit.

Interesting side note, I had the opportunity to be the tech that services the telephone network on the islands, but I turned it down because it was a huge life change and I was close to retirement. I went on to retire at age 49 (in 2020), so I'm glad I didn't turn my life upside down just to get the chance to work on some islands. I would've had to boat and fly back and forth all the time, which would've taken away a lot of the appeal.

Riding back and forth sounds awful though- I can't imagine how early you would have to leave to get there.
