Hi, I just joined christian forums. I have been struggling with self harm for about 6 months, sometimes it would be up to 5 times a day,but I'm getting counselling now which i'm hoping will help.
Even though I only just joined, I've been reading many posts and it breaks my heart to see so many others struggling with this as well, so I just wanted to say I do care and have prayed for many of you as you battle with this. With God's help we can overcome this.

I am sorry to hear of your struggle with Self injury. I've been struggling with it for about 9 years now. It makes me smile to know that you've started counseling. It would be wonderful to stop the behavior before it gets too out of control like mine did. 9 years is a long time to deal with something like this. I really hope that you never have to struggle like that!
You'll find lots of support here and lots of caring people willing to do what they can for you! I hope you feel comfortable here as we're all willing to listen

Hi there!

I just wanted to say I think it's wonderful that you have gone to counselling for SI. I have been struggling with self harm for about 11 years on and off. I have been free from it for almost a year now thank God! So I know that recovery is possible!
