  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hi, all. I am going to apologize right away in case I do something wrong. I have been trying to study up on the do's and don'ts. :)

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 1.5 years now. In May of this year, my husband's SA came back with no count. Turns out he is missing key parts of the "plumbing" to enable him to father children the old fashioned way. So far so good with me.

Now we are in the midst of struggling with IVF, DI, or some form of adoption, so I went hunting for more information and found this site.

The doctors think it might be possible for my husband to have a biological child through IVF, but we are against freezing embryos. We are having trouble finding a doctor to work with us on our terms.

Anyway... I hope to get to know some of you. And would appreciate any advice you have on getting through this struggle. Especially on finding the "right" doctor.

Thanks!
