I am a newbie here. I am almost 29 married with one son who is almost 5. My husband is currently on a heart transplant list and is unable to work. I watch my 2 nephews 4 and 7 five days a week and 3 evenings a week I do respite care( to me it more like being a big sister) for a 14 year old girl. We are currently renting an apt. but will be building a townhouse thru a program called Housing Hope which is similar to Habitat to Humanity. this is a blessing for us since it is the only way we can own our own home. We go to a small church of about 50 to 60 people. We dont even have our own building and are meeting in a School on Sunday mornings and then have home groups during the week. Well I guess thats about all I can think of right now.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey welcome! Glad to hear your husband is on a list. I could use a new heart too but I am not on a list. Besides the top part of mine is till good. Only the bottom part is shriviled up like a prume. lol! Anyway there is enough love in it to hold it together for as long as it needs too.

aye, the church i go to started out something like yours too, but in a couple of years we've grown to be able to buy our own church building. I'm sure God will build up your church too.
