Hi everyone! I'm a christian living in London...
Im currently in my final year of an undergraduate Psychology degree. I'm writing my dissertation on emotional skills/beliefs about emotions and how they contribute to symptoms of mental illness and eating disorders in community samples/general population. Please help me by filling out my survey! This is in collaboration with leading doctors in the field of eating disorders, so it's an opportunity to be apart of a really interesting study, which will hopefully provide results useful for the care and treatment of individuals suffering with eating disorders and other mental health issues!

I think you are probably fine with where you have posted (but I am not a mod), but I have sometimes seen new folks come on and spam every board, related or not with things, and that doesn’t usually go over well. Because your post will show up in the “New Posts”, it will get a broader audience than just the subforum (that’s how I saw it first).

Hello and welcome to CF!

I took the survey too. I feel I might have skewed some results somewhere for two reasons - one is that an Orthodox way of thinking is VERY therapeutic (see my signature which I haven't changed in a while) and I've been very changed in the years since I've been Orthodox - it's also a very effect means of learning impulse control, especially wrt food. And two that I've struggled much of my life with weight (real or imagined) but I started Keto about a year ago and I've lost about 60 pounds, so I feel much better about myself and still limit my food choices in ways that might seem radical to some, but it's not an indication of mental illness.

Anyway. Yes please don't post any more identical threads. I think I saw 5 and that's pretty borderline to getting you marked for spam. Hopefully it will go without any problems especially since you're new. Participating in other kinds of threads might make your intent look better if it comes under scrutiny.
