I'm married, a mom and a gramma. We have a disabled daughter living with us. We work for her and that is our whole income besides social security. My hubby and I both have health problems.
I have bipolar. Even so, I'm the one everyone counts on but I'm not so ok. I really need to find a mature christian person of experience to mentor me (us) along maybe? And of course to pray for me (us).
We have a sweet little church and good people there. We have a couple of friends. I don't tell anyone I have bipolar though (I believe in open-ness but learned my lesson . . . ). I don't feel I can really share the deeper problems with anyone that knows me here, for prayer.
My prayer has been to find some friends near us who can understand, support and enjoy our family KNOWING our problems. Right now I feel pretty needy, but I want to be able to be supportive and helpful in return. We live in a little rural town in Osage County KS.
But not to say I only want offline friends!
