New Here....Again!

So I took a forum hiatus for about 3 years...but I'm back. And Married!

My wife and I are, like the rest of y'all, childfree. Now, maybe we're weird, but we also both Christian and Conservative....real Conservative. I never thought about it, but it seems as though the childfree life choice is a left-leaning type of decision. OH NOES!!!! Before long, we'll have an Obama poster hanging in our bedroom.

I kid, I kid (<--- see what I did there?).

But seriously, I just plain don't like children (never have) and my wife is a DoNM (Daughter Of a Narcissistic Mother) and suffered much abuse at the hand of her mother for 25 years. Needless to say, her mother soured her opinion of procreating. I don't blame her.

It's good to be back and in this subforum...that I never knew existed because I spent all my time in the "Young Adults" forum and never wandered into the Marrieds.

Look forward to meeting each of you through the internetz and having a good time! If you can't tell, I'm a bit of a nut who likes to laugh and doesn't take things too seriously.

Not necessarily. It's more of a personality type based decision. Besides, I think I'm probably the only socialist here (I mean in this sub-form).

I said the left-wing deal because that's the trend I see on other boards as well. Doesn't matter to me, I was just makin a funny about it.
