CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi all,
My handle stands for "In Tha Beginning Ministries". Basically its a website I started out of my love for Christian Hip Hop culture. So much of today's youth and young adults are influenced by Hip Hop culture. So why not use that culture as a vehicle to reach them for Christ? It's the same thing missionary's do around the world.
In time, I hope for it to become more than just an online resource for finding sites for artists, labels, magazines, clothing lines, ministries, and so on. I'd for it to become the launching of organized outreach events.
In the meantime, I work full-time for the government and run the Jr. High Student Ministry program at my church. I'd love to one day be working in full-time ministry. But I'm not sure how long it will be before that becomes financially possible.
I signed up for this forum because a friend of mine from church has found it a great way of communicating with other Christians and a great way to minister to people about the biblical and scientific truths behind a young earth creation model (a passion we both share).
I've only been here a few days, but already I've enjoyed other topics like answering question about the Christian faith in the Outreach section. I try to stick to the threads with fewer posts. Otherwise I'm going to spend 2 hrs reading about a topic only to find that what I wanted to say has already been shared in parts by 4 or 5 others.
Well... I'm getting high-speed internet hooked up at my house tonight. So hopefully I'll be able to better use the javascript tools better there (they are blocked at work).
