New Feature: My Bookmarks!

Okay, have you ever wished that you had access to the Favorites or Bookmarks folder on your home computer when you are at work and surfing but cannot remember the URL to a site you want to visit?

Well wish no further.

There is a great new feature on Christian Forums. Essentially, you get to store your Internet Bookmarks ON THIS SITE in your User Control Panel. You can choose to share your bookmark with other members, or keep it private.

Click on "Control Panel" right now. You should see the "My Bookmarks" link right at the top above your Private Messages box. Click on it to add, organize and share your online Bookmarks now! This way, you always have access to your favorite sites!

Okay - I've upgraded the MyBookmarks feature. Now members must have a minimum of 100 posts before they can use the Bookmarking feature. This is to prevent abuse.

It's a nifty feature where you can place a list of your favorite sites here in CF and refer to it from anywhere in the world. Try it out!

Attention!

You can now IMPORT bookmarks from your browser!

The bookmark file needs to be in Netscape format. If you have Internet Explorer, just export your favorites folder as a Netscape bookmark.

Then go to your Control Panel, and click on the Bookmarks link. Then click on "Statistics & Options" and choose Import.

There you go!!! Your bookmarks will be accessible anywhere on the net!

Remember, only members with 100 posts of more can use this. You are limited to 50 links per member.
