This probably wouldn't solve the contrast problem, but maybe it's worth a try. I inadvertently stumbled into the text only version of the site tonight. Only I don't see a link to it anywhere. I think I clicked somewhere on the right side of the header and ended up in text only. Where is that link?

Edit: I notice that the "Jesus is the Reason for the Season" graphic is also a link to text only. I think that's where I had clicked before.

I would too, The site is back to slow mode again after being faster for a while. I am thinking text only may load easier

I really love the dark orange...but just can't read posts with black text.
