  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Paul Bixler, son of Russ Bixler just wrote me. He told me that Cornerstone Television, which you can watch online, will be airing a new Origins program soon. Russ Bixler use to host the original Origins program before he passed away. He interviewed many different international scientists on his show. Right now they still air old episodes but this is what Paul told me about the upcoming Origins program.

"The program format will be improved with a new Origins
television set featuring smartboard technology in conjunction with
powerpoint presentations. You will be able to download the information shown during the program from the website. The new shows will begin airing on Monday Oct.11 at 10pm and will be repeated the following sunday at 5:30pm."

Just a reminder the new show starts in a couple hours. 10pm Eastern, 9 PM central time. You can watch online if you don't get Cornerstone on your TV. I encourage everyone to watch, I'm excited to see how the new format plays out!
