I have believed the Bible ever since I first learned about it (probably at the start of primary school). I have gone to church every year on Christmas Eve (Christingle service- sorry if I spelt it wrong. It's the first time I've written it) since the age of 3. I got christened when I was still a baby. I even go to a Christian union each school Thursday. But I have never decided properly that I am Christian. It was always in the passing. But recently I've been thinking about it more. A while ago, I tried to pray but I just felt silly because I couldn't see what/who to pray for, and I basically decided to start praying regularly by the first prayer being a prayer for someone to get better. Selfish, it may seem, but a day in my shoes and you would understand. Yesterday, my grandfather fell ill in the street and was hospitalised, and that was who I prayed for. I now see reason in praying, for my grandfather only had a slight stroke and will make a full recovery. I will now be praying everyday in thankfulness for God healing him and giving everybody awareness of how much lifestyle changes he needs to make for the better. Today I will accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Tomorrow I will start saying daily prayers. I will read a bit of the Bible each day until I have read it, and then I will read the Children's Bible my mother gave me to help me understand a bit more (or maybe the other way around). On Sunday I will be going to church for the first time on a Sunday (and it won't be the last either- I will be going weekly as much as I can after that) with my Christian friend (who is lucky to have a family of devoted Christians. The only people who are devoted Christians in my family are my Uncle and his wife, who also live almost 2 hours away). I know I probably have made some mistakes that go against moral Christian beliefs, but I am learning still. If someone could point out these to me and say how I can correct them into thinking Christian, I would be very grateful. One thing I would also like to ask is: Is it wrong to read out prayers from a website (even if it is a Christian one)? Thankyou for reading all this, and in advance if you answer either two things :)

Thanks :) How did you do the sparkly writing (it's awesome so I am curious)? Rather than posting a whole new thread for this, I thought I'd ask you this: Are certain types of music restricted if you are a Christian (e.g. songs about suicide, Evanescence is one band which I like but does this but also used to promote their songs in Christian record shops and radio stations etc...). Thanks in advance if you help :)
