If you're from a Southern Baptist heritage, the Baptist Bookstore offers a number of well-considered books. I think they're now called "LifeWay" Bookstores. Recommended.
I started out Southern Baptist, and I've held onto many of its theological distinctives I learned as a child. They're sound, listen carefully. Most of your teachers are dedicated to the Bible's thinking, so you can listen and see what the Bible says, and they can explain how they got to where they are.
Are there errors? Yeah. There're errors in all human thinking. You're gonna make mistakes; they are, too. Expect it; expect to bring your mistakes to God for help fixing them. God's provided Someone that fixes us. Christianity isn't about being right about everything; it's about relying on the One Who can fix our wrongs.
God's also talked about this interaction with other Christians in pretty serious terms: communion, koinonia (a kind of "fellowship" that isn't just having coffee with one another, but sharing our lives with one another), encouragement, even different factions within the church are there so we can see through to which one is confirmed by God (1 Cor 11:19). And of course there's sharing with one another what you've learned. That's all huge. God's built a family of believers around you. Learn. Listen. Contribute back.
