Hi all

I've set up a separate web server for most of the image files served from CF. Took me a while to migrate them and make all the code changed but as far as I can tell it's done, and everything looks like it's working.

This should speed CF a bit more now that image files are on a separate web server.

Please post here if you see any broken image links. I may have missed a few things here and there.

Every image so far for me is broken. If you do put the images on another server, they will continue to be broken for me as Mozilla has a feature that lets only images from the originating server to appear (cuts down on ads).

Just one person here, but I figured I would let you in on the possibility of problems for others.

I'm experiencing the same thing. None of the images are showing up. They just have little words or captions on them and the posts are going way off the screen. Some of the signature images are showing up though like on KristiAnn's.

Hey, couldn't see the image to edit my post so I quoted it. Just wanted to let you all know, I'm using Mozilla as well. Also, this is causing some SERIOUS slow down of Christian Forums for me. The New Post page actually took me about 4-5 minutes just to load on my 56k modem which runs at around 50k.

Things will be slow when you first log in as all image files will need to be re-downloaded from the new web server. However, once this is done, things should be much faster.

Interesting, I have my cashe disabled anyway so I've never stored the gif files for reuse and it has never been this slow.

I'm running on a T1 at work and getting about the same speed issue there.

That's how it is here as well. Even the boxes where it normally says "Edit", "Reply", etc and the editing buttons for posting are all little boxes with 'x' in them.

Well, all the images are broken, and the text goes off the page... I'll try flushing my cache, and trying again.
