New CF Image Server

Hi all

I've set up a separate web server for most of the image files served from CF. Took me a while to migrate them and make all the code changed but as far as I can tell it's done, and everything looks like it's working.

This should speed CF a bit more now that image files are on a separate web server.

Please post here if you see any broken image links. I may have missed a few things here and there.

I am at work which has a quicker connection than my broadband at home.

It took longer than usual for the smilies to all load.
Maybe you are still tweaking things.
Or everyone is getting on now that the system is back?

It is also showing the stretched out post for awhile before coming back in.
I think you know what I am saying. I hope.

Things will be slow when you first log in as all image files will need to be re-downloaded from the new web server. However, once this is done, things should be much faster.

I thought it was going to take 30 minutes - ended up taking 3 hours!

We always add cushion time to our estimates at work.
You never know what you are going to run into.
But you do good work.

I can not see "delivered" avatars. Just see a red X.

The smilies in the user titles are pointing to the old image server. Redo your user title again and it will work.

You were linking to the Armor of God images which have moved. Yes, you'd need to change that.

I cannot see any images at all. All I see are red X's....
