Speak for yourself; I'm not under his rule.

Jesus is my King right here, right now, on this earth.

Nor am I under the rule of Satan, but the WORLD is.

C'mon. I know you know what I mean. This is just semantics. I don't even remember what my original point was, but that is what happens when we concentrate on the technical things without grasping what is important. Doctrine, for the most part, are technicalities of our faith. Our FAITH, though, is about acting Christ-like. We are the only Jesus that most people will see in this life.

I have a genuine question.

Given this is now a democracy, if the majority were to want the forum's name be changed, will it happen?

I doubt it, that would require buying another domain name other than ChristianForums.com

Ok regardings the overzealous christians bit. If those were people outside this forum, elsewhere in the world. Does it really make it right for you to come here and do what you said you do even though no one here did that to you? Why not take it directly to who offended you instead of waving broad attacks against the general christians of the world or this forum for that matter.

God governs everything. He is the all-powerful Creator. He is the loving Sustainer. And He is the perfect Ruler. He created the Universe, and He knows how to govern it as well. Should we trust God or should we trust Erwin?

Does giving someone the right to say that sky is purple make the sky purple? Nope. But by giving them that chance to be heard, you have opened the lines of dialog just like Paul did.
If I remember the story right, the Romans got a head of Paul.

Unless God turned Erwin into a puppet on a string, I would say a bit of both.

Yes, but I'd say the revenue generated would more than cover it. Presumably now that everything is open we'll finally be able to see how the accounts are run, too.

Further the domain name would go for a fortune.

So the question remains: given this is now a democracy, if majority vote wishes to see the name changed, will it happen?

Are they willing to pony up for a new domain name?

Proposed Rule #1. Never quote yourself. It makes you look partially insane.

Well you can always buy the new domain name, code the site, and then donate it.
