Didn't you get the memo? Anyone who doesn't believe what you believe is a fundamentalist, unless of course YOU claim to be a fundamentalist, in which case everyone else is a heathen.

I say let you back in. Why not? If you were banned for incivility, you'll be gone again soon enough. YOu can't change a scorpion. If you were banned because you are an agnostic (or whatever you claim yourself to be, not my concern) then I say let you have free run of the joint. Be my guest.

Whatever the members of each forum decide it to be. Heaven is now a democracy. I'n't it grand?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is not Heaven. It is not even the new Earth. When the New Heaven and the New Earth do come, it will not be a democracy then, but a theocracy. However, as long as Jesus is not our King on Earth, as long as the prince of this world reigns, then, the closest we CAN get to justice is by the Will of the People!

ok..im confused. The rules are a WIKI that Every member here can change?? ummmmm..does that mean we could end up with 1 million rules??? someone expand..i dont know much about WiKI
I'm so sorry RedTulipMoon, Man made rules will always bring confusion, and so it has already here.

Suggestion for CF: How about merely ruling with the 10 commandments and Jesus' Sermon on the Mount? This more sounds like "Christian ways" which the Word of God ~can~ use to unite Christian's together as one Body?

Because on the other hand:
If not, CF will have created two tables to dine from and it will be as Gentiles sacrifice to demons and not to God:
1.The Lord's Table and
2. A table of devils (See 1 Corinthian's 10:20-22)

Shall we cause to provoke the Lord to Jealousy here if we try to be united without His Word taking Authority?
But, the World system seems to think otherwise - they don't want God's Word to control their lives, but what about here? Erwin?

HOwever, Lisa, truth doesn't change, no matter where it is.

We are called to conform ourselves to it, not vice versa.

Is that what you want to do? Be a thorn in everyone's side? Why would you do that?

PM me if you know me. I want to know who you are. I won't tell and I am not sure that it would matter now anyway.

No. Not even the almightly "Will of the People" will be close to God's heart - how about:
1. The 10 commandments (directing from behind)
2. and the Sermon on the Mount (lead from ahead)

God directing us from behind and God leading from ahead.

Okay, we are to conform ourselves to the truth of Jesus Christ. It doesn't say anywhere that we are to force anyone else to conform. Instead, we are to be a shining light in the darkness. If we do not allow the darkness in, does the light still shine?

I have to say it - what amazes me is staff (like I was) got stuck with the horrid reforms of last year. Several of us complained, several wonderful staffers left and yet we had to follow the protocols dictated to us. From a debate perspective, I begged for changes with the goofy rules we had, begged for maybe some forum specific rules, etc. - and repeatedly was told no no no. Now I see confirmation from Erwin that the rules were to legalistic (which was the complaint repeatedly ignored) and I see the move to forum specific rules (which Erwin repeatedly told us would not happen). I feel a bit beaten as a staff member who resigned right before this reform as I was just totally burned out and got to the straw and camels back point. These were the cries of so many, who all left over this past year, to please fix the mess of the last reform. Now you got reforms that address some of those very concerns that good staff left over and their not here now. Its just a shame this was neglected for so long.

actually this position is not in accordance with scripture .

Anyone who has read the account of Simon Magus will know full well the words of the Apostles.
Acts.8
[1] And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
[2] And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
[3] As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
[4] Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
[5] Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
[6] And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
[7] For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
[8] And there was great joy in that city.
[9] But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
[10] To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
[11] And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
[12] But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
[13] Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
[14] Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
[15] Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
[16] (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
[17] Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
[18] And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
[19] Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
[20] But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
[21] Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
[22] Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
[23] For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
[24] Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
