Hi. I'm a new member. I had a look on an evolution forum here and was glad to see people actually discussing the subject.

I would say I am 'born of the spirit'. I was brought up RC but wasn't convinced until age 30 when I changed over to protestant after discussing with prod. evangelicals. I have dilema though as I am no way a fundementalist and now 10 years on I don't even accept the creed of Nicea anymore. So I am not involed with any church now.

Hi. I'm a new member. I had a look on an evolution forum here and was glad to see people actually discussing the subject. I just left another forum-site Evolution v Creation because the members were incredably patronising and had a 'superior' attitude and kept using 'we', as if to say they are the elite professionals and I'm an idiot. I felt so insulted. I am a Christian. I hope my views will be respected and that I wont be shouted down. I suppose I would class myself as being on the liberal wing, up to a point. I would like to further investigate evolution to see if there's anything viable. I am orthodox in belief, but have some unorthodox views on various matters.

Yes you will get shouted down. Happens to me on a regular basis. You will probable, again like me, have the moderators step on your toes. It is annoying but you get used to it.
