I try to listen to all kinds of music, including new age. Does anyone like stuff by Yanni, Ray Lynch, Shadowfax, Nightnoise, Tangerine Dream, or Enya? Just wondering....

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Enya is good....really relaxing to listen to.
How about Piano/classical? I really like Jim Brickman....he does some really good stuff.

I absolutely adore Enya's music, it just lifts me up and amazes me...she is a great composer, and has an excellent lyricist, which makes her songs even better!

Enya OH YA! I love enya, I often just play "A Day Without Rain" by her over and over again while I write. MY male friends laugh at me.

Hi there! Well, there's a female musician by the name of Maire (pronounced "Moya") Brennan. I believe she is actually Enya's little sister--they were all in a band together called "Clannad," I think. Plus, Maire's Christian! I've bought at least two tapes of hers for my sister. She also has a song called, "Don't give up," (written by Peter Gabriel); it's on this cd of songs by other Christian musicians called, "Streams." ---Real good stuff. So check her out: Maire Brennan.
