New Age and the Occult... in schools... help?

*Disclamer, people that reply here should really have experience in this topic.

New age is taking over my school and its just a little bit creepy.
Everyone (A little bit exaggerated, fine... a lot that I know) have started wearing protection circles. (A star within a star within a circle with gemstones at each point) And other New Age practices have become more active.

They are the real deal too, theres people that chant over them. I interrupt them and they get a little (Cant say it here) off... just a little... Someone saw me praying in tongues and now theres a group of these kids that constantly have to annoy me... chuck stuff at me... and just plain wont leave me alone. Luckily I can leave the campus when I want to though.

Should I try find the person that they've been getting them off or should I just ignore it?

If hes/shes actually with the occult well, my life will be hell on earth. (I know too much, you really dont want to know my family history) I know one guy to be satanic but its not him.

Ha! I dont do 1 anymore unless the Holy Spirit tells me too.

2. This is school remember? They think filling out a form of what you've done wrong is punishment.

I have a 2 Christian friends and they've been getting harassed too.

Its just a pain... and creepy. Ignoring a problem just makes it worse. I just don't want to sit here you know?

You should really have a paper record of any harassment so if you have to take it further action you have solid proof of what was done when. As for your life hell on earth err I recommend you go to the Dream and Vision forum and read a post about the true power every Christian has...

1. Praying in tongues isn't Biblical.

2. Stop whining. Unless they're physically threatening you, leave them alone.

Do you have any idea what sort of persecution Christians in other parts of the world face? Go tell a Sudanese pastor who just watched his wife and daughters raped and then killed because he wouldn't renounce the Gospel that you're being persecuted because some other children in school are "annoying" you and he'd probably smack you upside the head (and rightfully so).

Keep in mind that the Early Christian Church, for the first 300 years, was surrounded by a pagan culture, embraced by the noble classes and government.

If you have faith in Jesus Christ, this should not do anything by strengthen your faith.

I agree that you should have some official record of the harassment on file with the school, just in case things escalate.
I also think you should band together with your Christian friends and support each other thru prayer throughout the school day. Maybe you can find other Christian students to join you as well.
