i was here a long while ago but when people started to get to know me i left. i do that in real life too.
i was abused by many men including my father growing up, and sence i been on my own i have trouble letting anyone knowq me.
i'm working to change that so ..
my name is patty. i'm 35 years old, and a sexual abuse servivor . its hard to be living with these memories even now.. so many years later.

Did you try counseling? I know that you don't want to hear this but the path to being happy is just one thing away: Forgiveness.

Counseling or therapy are a good idea. Sometimes meds help, too. Forgiveness is optional with the unforgiveable, in my opinion. But forgiveness is up to you when and if you want to do it.

Hi Patty, I'm glad you came back to the forums. I see that Ruth mentioned counseling. Have you been able to get any support and help through that if you've gone?
