That's an insane WI number, I actually had to check 538 and make sure I wasn't seeing things. Seems it's been around double digits for a week though, so believable though still wild.

Biden up by around 7 in Penn too. The old blue firewall looks like its very much re-established. The pathway for Trump is looking narrower by the day.

Frankly I don't even really see a pathway anymore for him. He's down by double digits in Virginia and without the rust belt the numbers just stop adding up. You can give him Florida, Texas, Georgia, NC, Arizona, Iowa, Ohio, Nevada it just isn't enough.

Anyone want to posit a realistic theory of how he pulls this off, because I just don't see it.

Must be that voter fraud organization he was so proud of.

Wisconsin’s GOP controlled legislature is doing everything in their power to sink Trump’s chances. Or rather not doing anything. They haven’t passed any bills on over six months (note: they are considered full-time pulling in more than $50k a year each). They’ve met for maybe a few minutes in that time. Have done nothing to help mitigate the problems of the coronavirus. In fact, the most action they have taken is encouraged lawsuits to stop any action the Democratic Governor has taken. Sure this strategy plays well with the base but Democrats and Independents are being turned off by this bizarre behavior. With cases and now deaths skyrocketing in Wisconsin, still no action by them.

Same way he deals with every problem. Lying, cheating. Calling “fake news!” and his followers dutifully backing him up. It’s what got him this far and he has no intention of stopping what’s worked for him up to now.

That comes after the polls have closed when the uncounted votes start being found miraculously or as party workers arrive at the polling locations with unsigned ballots still eligible for tabulating.

How much more is needed in order to demonstrate that the pollsters are doing all that they can to pull Biden through?

This certainly doesn’t prove it. Why would you bother going through the hassle of voting if your man has it in the bag? If the pollsters were trying to push Biden to victory they would bury this poll and get one that is close to encourage his voters to come out to push him over the top.

How exactly are ballots mailed before Election Day but arriving after due to the mail service being inefficient somehow ‘miraculous’? Considering Trump put a guy in place to trash the Post Office sorting system to create exactly this outcome, it seems a bit presumptuous to try and claim a miracle.

So that's the new group of people to conspire for the fall of Trump. Who is in league for bringing down Trump
  • Democrats
  • the mainstream media
  • the epidemiologists
  • the deep state
  • the never-Trump republicans
and now the pollsters.
It seems that soon half of the USA want to get rid of Grump, and isn't that the essence of elections?

Not to mention this - Badgers halt, won't play Huskers after outbreak

That's sure to help the incumbent party, right?

Evidence, for one. A logical argument based on that evidence for another. Motive, perhaps?

Actually, pretty much anything more than random fact-free questions would be a step in the right direction.

Even Rasmussen isn’t giving him a great deal of love.

In order for the polls to miss it this time, there has to be some variable they are all missing. Last time it was not considering education level. They account for that now, so there has to be something else to give Trump an edge.

The two big new forces this time are the pandemic and social unrest. We don’t know yet what the impact of these will be. We know early voting has skyrocketed. That doesn’t necessarily mean Trump won’t get a late surge in battleground states
to offset what seems to be indicating a Biden advantage.

Chaos Theory warns us we cannot know everything.

People tend to forget or they make excuses for the fact Hillary stopped the vote recount as soon as places started coming up with more votes than registered voters last time. I was really hoping to see how California came out but they fought like crazy to hide their info.

Ah yes, the omnipotent Clinton that somehow has say over vote counting as a private citizen yet somehow lost the election.
