  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey everyone! I am brand new to this site so I’m not exactly sure on how everything works, but here it goes :) I wanted to create a Never Ending story, just like I used to do when I was younger. Anyone can add on, even if its just a few words. However please don’t write more than a paragraph (4 or 5 sentences). I’ll start it *smiles*

Dried up fallen leaves danced along the cement steps as I climbed slowly to the entrance of a place I hadn’t been to in years. Tragedy can change a person. The crisp cool morning breeze of autumn reminded me of him, and though so much time had passed he was still the dark figure in my dreams. Men and women huddled together as they made their way to the large doors and for a moment I paused with wonder if I should turn back. Finally I stood at the entrance of a church I had been avoiding since childhood, clinging to my jacket for dear life, with my guilt whispering in the wind behind me and my past laying at my feet.

Fear gripped my heart and with a deep sigh I stood frozen in my tracks. A tear trickled down my cheek and stared at the size of this familiar building. My head spun in circles, thoughts of doubt crowded every corner of my mind. "They'll judge me, I won't be accepted" my heart cried out. I dropped my head and started to turn around, but before I could make my first step I heard the soft calling of a familiar voice....
