CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Father,
I pray that you will bless each of your children today in some special way.
I pray you will lift up any who are feeling down, with the spirit of joy.
I pray you will comfort those who need comforting.
And grant peace to any who need it.
If any are in pain Lord I pray you will ease it, and to any who seek your healing touch, I pray you'll bring it to them.
Lord I pray you will draw each of your children closer to you, and keep them on your path. let not one of them be lead astray. Make each of your children shine like a light in the darkness, so they can help draw others others to you Lord.
Help us all to remember the Love you have shown us, so that we can learn how to show it to others.
I thank you for all these things Father!

i pray father that the Holy Spirit will be with us all and guide us throughout the weekend. I give you thanks for another day. I pray that we focus on what is good in this world, and not dwell on all the bad. Bless us once again father, and let us grow in grace and knowledge of you.

Oh lord how can we stand to you if we're so unclean. Your grace and mercy is so great that we are forgiven even after all the things we've done. Thank you for your forgiveness and your Son who died on the cross for us to pay for those sins. Oh gracious Lord you are our God, you are the perfect one who loves us to no end and will never abandon us. Oh Lord we thank you in Your name...
