Trust me as a guy, I would welcome a relationship with a girl who has never kissed anyone. In the future, this would be something I WANT.
Don't feel bad, I have never "officilally" gone on a date period, much less kissed anyone. Just glad I'm not alone in this....

I can say the same thing. I've never been kissed, dated, or anything. And that is perfectly normal. And it's great to know that there are guys out there who are the same way. I wondered if any of all were left... which leads to the question....... Where are ya'll at???? I can't seem to find a Christian man.........totally tired of be alone....

I am reminded of the life of Saint Claire; she lived her entire life in celibacy, dedicating it comletely to the Lord and His work. She lived out her days in purity and total separation from the desires of the flesh...truly a genuine female role model.

The less you have dated or been in romantic relationships before means less emotional baggage that could get in the way of a future relationship, which is a big plus.

A disadvantage may be that you might be a bit awkward in getting things started or knowing what to do and when..this goes both ways, male or female. Concentrate on being friends first, and then take it from there.

Go ahead and keep your standards high but keep them realistic. There is no perfect guy so don't waste your time looking for him. there are only real people with real problems. Just make sure the guy is walking with the lord. It will help in many ways.

As for loosening up around guys, well... kissing them might help! (heh, Kidding!) Just be yourself. I like girls who are themselves. What more can I say? (really, what more can I say? I just dont know. Sorry. heh)

I don't see to many guys who are willing to wait or in my case been spared from unnecessary relationships. I just thank God for keeping me from dating just to date when I was younger.
Now I know better, but it has also been getting harder to keep my mind pure. I pray to God to Keep renewing my mind. Especially with the girls that go to my school who wear the smallest and most transparent things--even in winter under their coats! They so badly want attention. I guess it just proves that there is a God.
I am not saying that I would ever consider these girls for a romantic relationship. I am just saying that I need to pray to keep my mind away from unpure thoughts.
But hopefully soon I will find "her" as God brings us together.

The next four years you most likely wanted to play tag and duck, duck, goose. This brings us till your about 10 which has you waiting about 15 years. Unless you wanted to get married at 10 then you have no more than 15 years waiting.
I don't know are you one of the girls who have been planning their weeding since they were 10? I don't know if you are, but I do know a handful who have.
But from the age of 10 till maybe let say 18 you were still finding yourself.

Well from 18 till now (25 you say) you have 7 years of waiting.

So you have probably been waiting for 7 years.

I have not been on a date either. Or done any thing physically or romantically with a girl.. yet. (waiting for marrige).

I feel that the current culture has rushed everyone to start dating sooner. I am not sure but I dont think that about from 100 years ago and beyond people did not date that much. People did not go from one person to another with in weeks or months from each other. I suspect that people probably dated like no more than 5 time before they got married.

Does anybody know any history on this topic?
Got any numbers?

You'll pardon me for not joining in the back-slapping but I think that refering to any woman as 'partly soiled' to be highly derogatory. I also find it startling that the women on this thread think that this is in some way endearing.

The rest of your post does contain some wisdom however.

Cuz I consider my relationship with girls,ladys woman, perrty good. Its just that I am not ready yet. I had some offers from girls who liked me but God save me from those relationships (they would of been very bad if they did go thru).

I am asking just to see if may be we can all help you be a better batchlor (sp check)? If your intrested.

Pardon me, but almost 24 isn't "barely out of diapers". Being in your mid-30's isn't too far away from where you're at in life. I found that statement (as playful as it may have been) kind of offensive.

Anyway, there is *nothing* to be ashamed of just because you have virgin lips. What a beautiful thing! Many Christians can say they saved their physical virginity until their wedding night, but how many Christians can say they've saved their kiss? I have lived a shameful past of sexual promiscuity and I'm so happy to say that while I can't get back six years of sexual purity, I have prayed for God's forgiveness and I know that He has made me spotless and new and I am planning on saving my kiss and everything that comes with it until my wedding day. Being 100% chaste can bring you no harm or pain. It's God's plan for you and your body and soul. It's God's way of ensuring your heart and body are protected. God wouldn't command us to remain pure in thought and in deed if it weren't for our own good.

I love the analogy of a present. Your purity is a gift from God. It's God's gift for you to give to your spouse. God designed us with a desire to give and receive pleasure, but ONLY within the confines of marriage. Anyway, there is a beautiful package wrapped in gorgeous paper and topped with an extravagant bow. Kissing someone passionately is like removing the bow from that present. Does it look as pretty? Can you resist the temptation of opening it up all the way?

I recommend reading all three of Joshua Harris's books; "I Kissed Dating Goodbye", "Boy Meets Girl", and "Not Even a Hint". I pray you will seek God's guidance in this matter. Bless you.
