I've done research on this and the more you research the deeper the rabbit hole really gets.

Genesis chapter 6 talks about the sons of God and the daughters of men mating. Supposedly the Hebrew for "God" in this passage is something like bnai el oheim which is used in the Old Testament multiple times for the word "Angel"

Supposedly these fallen angels came down to mate with the daughters of men to eventually destroy the bloodline that would lead to Jesus. Thus producing giants and some even believe that hybrids were created. This is where you get all the mythological creatures out of Egypt like the sphinx. Along with them coming down and mating with men they also supposedly taught the human race agriculture, warfare, and astrology. This is where some believe the Mayans came up with their ability to keep such an accurate calendar using the stars. This then leads us into my 2012 theory along with the dark rift and our earth travelling on a drunken axis. Ask me if you are interested... This stuff gets crazy.

A lot of what I just said stems from a book not included in the Bible and that book is the Book of Enoch. This is interesting in itself because it is an accredited book and even quoted in the bible we know today. This is done in the book of Jude.

Also these giants that were created is also where Goliath supposedly comes from.

The bible says that Noah was a righteous man and blameless among the people of his time. It's either righteous or blameless that is translated from Hebrew which actually means perfect in physical form or not of the polluted bloodline and this is why he was chosen.

It states that these Nephillim existed before and after the flood. This is interesting because Moses sent out spies to take a look at Canaan. The spies came back and reported to Moses that the people they saw there were of great size. They say "We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes and we looked the same to them" These people were descendant of Anak come from the Nephillim.

It is also theorized why Moses and Joshua were given orders to destroy entire villages and not leave a living thing behind in them after they were destroyed.

If you think that is crazy it is theorized that we have not seen the last of the Nephillim or fallen angels. That they will return and wreak havoc on this earth once again. These people that theorize this use Matthew 24:37 as their backing for this theory. If you ask me they are picking and choosing when it comes to this verse because it goes on to talk about drinking and being merry and not about these fallen angels. It is believed that the UFO sightings we see today are actually these fallen angels. I have even heard stuff about the government getting info from "the watchers” who believe are fallen angels on earth.

Now that I have stated all this stuff please don't believe me to be a nut or conspiracy theorist. It just so happens that I like to think outside the box when it comes to the bible. I actually struggled with this stuff for a while and believe me when I say it is very very interesting but you have to be careful to not get too tied up in this stuff because it takes your sights off the power and saving grace that Jesus demonstrates on the cross and we should be studying this instead.
You have a great way of presenting your thoughts. :)

Thanks, :)
Ed

Well, demons could be able to transform themselves. According to sources, there are different races of aliens. One of the races are called Pleideians (correct my spelling if this is wrong). According to eye witnesses, their average height is maybe 8-9 feet tall. I got this from a website. If I'm wrong correct me. Also these aliens look very human.

Indeed - THAT is the problem. We are warned in scripture about "the god of this world" that deceives mankind in 2Cor 4:4 -- this is the same one who is able to "transform himself into an angel of LIGHT" 2Cor 11:14.

Angels can present themselves in the form of men Gen 18:2 as well as taking on some of these other forms.

In Luke 4:6 Satan says "This world has been handed over to me"

Satan is one of the most powerful created beings in the Universe - he STILL goes about as "a Roaring LION seeking whom he may devour" 1Peter 5:8 - it is doubtful that "greys" are showing up as real beings from other planets -- intruding into Lucifer's backyard with their own goofy agenda.

Rather - this is simply another form of spiritism - ghosts, evil angels once again "tricking" their victims.

So "as it turns out" Christ was correct in Matt 22 when he argues that the created forms for Angels did not provide for them to enter into family relationships - no parents no spouses no children. All Angels created directly by God Himself. For that reason they are called "the sons of God" just as Adam was in Luke 3. (Which of course is not a claim to God the Son -- who is himself God from all eternity)

ALL the people living before the flood were Nephilim -- All giants by our reckoning, ALL of them lived to be over 800 years old and so in fact Noah was Nephilim so also his descendants -- which is why you see entire races of them still left in the days of Abraham and the judges.

After the flood the ages of mankind began to drop to 400 then to the 200's then to the 100's ... mankind's physical nature was being literally withered away by the dramatic change that came with post-flood earth conditions. The ancient ones of Noah's family were outliving their great great great grandchildren. Noah died within 5 years before Abraham's birth. Noah's sons were alive in the days of Isaac! Shem died a few years before Jacob was born.

And yet along a few lines -- the strain of Nephilim traits lingered longer than others.

in Christ,

Bob

I highly doubt Noah was a nephilim.

Hi Bob. I have a question.

Are you saying that all mankind was Nephilim including Adam or just people that died in the Flood?

I have other questions, but I need to understand what you are saying here first ... otherwise I am getting confused fast. :)

Thanks, :)

,,,

We see them even after the flood in the case of King Og, and Goliath and others even after the flood - so Noah and his family were also Nephilim.

in Christ,

Bob
Bob, are you associating being a Nephilim with long age and great size?
Meaning that humans could not have been living that long without a Nephilim "genes".

What Biblical verses you have (I am not saying you need to have clear verses) that form your opinion?

Thanks, :)

Well, I'm going to take this a slightly different direction. So, any of you watch the Naked Archaeologist on History International? If so, you have probably seen their take on the Nephilim. If you have not, keep reading. Bear in mind, this is not necessarily what I believe, it is just an interesting take.

Either way, the show claims that the Nephilim could somehow have been a being such as a Neanderthal man. The show goes on to claim that there is proof in the archaeological record in Israel of bones of both humans and other humanoids existing together dating to the time of the early Genesis period.

Now, first off, I have a hard time buying into the theory of Neanderthal man. However, this does not mean that the bones did not belong to the Nephilim, there is no way to know. Secondly, who's to say they weren't of the line of Seth?

Either way, another take for you to chew on. I would post a link, but I have not yet hit the magic 50. Plus, there is not much online as reference.

Merry Christmas and God Bless!!!

I believe in the Seth's family line theory. The fallen angel theory doesn't make sense. For that to be true, then you need to make certain assumptions.
http://users.aristotle.net/~bhuie/gen6sons.htm
1. That humans and angels can have sexual relations and produce viable offspring.
How does one envision that the miraculous conception of the virgin birth take place and not give credibility to the possibility of this happening? I give the benefit that perhaps the man in our image, after our likeness; could be similar in physical attributes to a degree.
There is support for those fallen angels in Jude: 6 that speak of not keeping their first estate, in chains until judgment day for something about the first estate.
There is the Job 1:6 support for the Hebrew “angels of God, also.
God helped the Hebrews through the wilderness, where they are said to have partaken of Angel’s food; Manna.

2. That there is a fallen angel, even a group of them, which is more evil or craftier than Satan himself.
Why do you see them as more evil?
Why didn't he think of this,
Who says he did not?
since he's the leader of the rebellion against Heaven?
Yup.
Why take the form of a serpent when you can take the form of a man and steal Eve from Adam?
Who says he didn’t?
You could even do that after he bit the fruit and take advantage of history's first marital dispute.
Exactly! But we have Genesis 3:14 & 15.
I don’t think the Fallen Angels had to be of a more demonic spirit than the one created with the full pattern.
3. That God restricts some demons and demonic behaviors but not others.
That is an interesting question.
If you're God, then why are you doing that?
“But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD, and they do not understand His purpose“; “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
What is the motivation of demons who tempt people, discourage people, possess people, cause disease, and start false religions that are brutal on their own practitioners to not take women after the flood?
We have Genesis 6:4 that also states There were giants then and AFTER that when…..

4. That God's plan on exterminating the demonic hybrid super-race didn't even work.
I believe it did for Noah and God’s purpose.
The Bible mentions that the Nephilim were there after the flood as well. Why and how did they exist?
Did God miss a demon or two when rounding up the demonic perps and putting them in prison? Why didn't they take over the world again, since they were so big and bad?
Who says they didn’t…
But the bloodline from the first Adam to the last Adam made it anyway.
I also found Bullinger’s biblical support to be interesting.

This Is Appendix 23 From The Companion Bible.
It is only by the Divine specific act of creation that any created being can be called "a son of God". For that which is "born of the flesh is flesh". God is spirit, and that which is "born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6). Hence Adam is called a "son of God" in Luke 3:38. Those "in Christ" having "the new nature" which is by the direct creation of God (2 Corinthians 5:17. Ehpesians 2:10) can be, and are called "sons of God" (John 1:13. Romans 8:14,15. 1John 3:1).1
This why angels are called "sons of God" in every other place where the expression is used in the Old Testament. Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7. Daniel 3:25. (no article). 2 We have no authority or right to take the expression in Genesis 6:2,4 in any other sense. Moreover, in Genesis 6:2 the Septuagint renders it "angels".
Angels are called "spirits" (Psalm 104:4. Hebrews 1:7,14), for spirits are created by God.
That there was a fall of the angels is certain from Jude 6.

As soon as it was made known that the Seed of the woman was to come through ABRAHAM, there must have been another irruption, as recorded in Genesis 6:4, "and also after that" (that is to say, after the days of Noah, more than 500 years after the first irruption). The aim of the enemy was to occupy Canaan in advance of Abraham, and so to contest its occupation by his seed. For, when Abraham entered Canaan, we read (Genesis 12:6) "the Canaanite was then (that is to say, already) in the land."
In the same chapter (Genesis 12:10-20) we see Satan's next attempt to interfere with Abraham's seed, and frustrate the purpose of God that it should be in "Isaac". This attempt was repeated in 20:1-18.
This great conflict may be seen throughout the Bible, and it forms a great and important subject of Biblical study. In each case the human instrument had his own personal interest to serve, while Satan had his own great object in view. Hence God had, in each case, to interfere and avert the evil and the danger, of which His servants and people were wholly ignorant. The following assaults of the great Enemy stand out prominently:-

The Nephilim, or "Giants"
of Genesis 6, etc.
This Is Appendix 25 From The Companion Bible.
The progeny of the fallen angels with the daughters of Adam (see notes on Genesis 6, and Appendix 23 are called in Genesis 6, N e-phil´-im, which means fallen ones (from naphal, to fall). What these beings were can be gathered only from Scripture. They were evidently great in size, as well as great in wickedness. They were superhuman, abnormal beings; and their destruction was necessary for the preservation of the human race, and for the faithfulness of Jehovah's Word (Genesis 3:15).
This was why the Flood was brouhgt "upon the world of the ungodly" (2Peter 2:5) as prophesied by Enoch (Jude 14).
But we read of the Nephilim again in Numbers 13:33 : "there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, which come of the Nephilim". How, it may be asked, could this be, if they were all destroyed in the Flood ? The answer is contained in Genesis 6:4, where we read: "There were Nephilim in the earth in those days (that is to say, in the days of Noah); and also AFTER THAT, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became [the] mighty men (Hebrew gibbor, the heroes) which were of old, men of renown" (literally, men of the name, that is to say, who got a name and were renowned for their ungodliness).
So that "after that", that is to say, after the Flood, there was a second irruption of these fallen angels, evidently smaller in number and more limited in area, for they were for the most part confined to Canaan, and were in fact known as "the nations of Canaan". It was for the destruction of these, that the sword of Israel was necessary, as the Flood had been before.
As to the date of this second irruption, it was evidently soon after it became known that the seed was to come through Abraham; for, when he came out from Haran (Genesis 12:6) and entered Canaan, the significant fact is stated: "The Canaanite was then (that is to say, already) in the land." (note in Genesis 12:6 "Canaanite… then in the land. It is evident that from Terah´s and Abraham´s call, Satan knew the line by which "the seed of the woman (Gen. 3:15)" was coming into the world, In ch. 6 he aimed at the whole human race. Now he aims at Abraham and his land. Here is the second explanation of the words "after that" in Gen. 6:4. He pre-occupies the territory ready to dispute the advance... The progeny of the later attempt to corrupt the race had to be destroyed by the sword of Israel, as those "in the days of Noah" had been by the Flood". Gen. 13:7 note "Canaanite and Perizzite", These were the Nephilim. Dwelled = were dwelling. Then = already. In the land = Occupying it in advance, and spreading later to "the giant cities of Bashan" "). And in Genesis 14:5 they were already known as "Rephaim" and "Emim", and had established themselves as Ashteroth Karnaim and Shaveh Kiriathaim.
In chapter 15:18-21 they are enumerated and named among Canaanite Peoples: "Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, and the Amorites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites" (Genesis 15:19-21; compare Exodus 3:8,17; 23:23. Deuteronomy 7; 20:17. Joshua 12:8).
These were to be cut off, and driven out, and utterly destroyed (Deuteronomy 20:17. Joshua 3:10). But Israel failed in this (Joshua 13:13 (Geshurites, Maachathites between Israelites); 15:63 (Jebusites in Jerusalem with the children of Judah); 16:10 (Canaanites in Gezer among the Ephraimites); 17:18 (another promise not believed by Israelites) vs. Judges 1:19-21 (strong Canaanites of the valley with chariots of iron, and more Jebusites in Jerusalem with the children of Benjamin),24-36 (the second city Luz, in Hittites land (maybe in N. Syria, according to T. C. M.); neither Manasseh drive-out Beth-shean, Taanach, Dor, Ibleam, Megiddo and her towns; again Gezer among the Ephraimites; Kitron and Nahalol were left in Zebulun; and Asher dwelt among the Canaanites: Accho, Sidon, Ahlab, Achzib, Helbah, Aphik, Rehob; Naphtali dwelt among the Canaanites: Beth-shemesh and Beth-anath; and the Amorites forced the children of Dan into the mountains, and the Amorites inhabited in mount Heres, in Aijalon, and in Shaalbim, and from the going up to akrabbim, from the rock (Sela), and upward); 2:1-5 (because of the unbelief of Israel, the revelation changed); 3:1-7 (with a changed revelation, there were left: five lords of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians, the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baal-hermon unto the entering in of Hamath. And the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites, and Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites, and they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods. And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD…)); and we know not how many (Note: here Bullinger is talking about the Nephilim like beings that were living inside the canaanite tribes) got away to other countries to escape the general destruction . If this were recognized it would go far to solve many problems connected with Anthropology.
As to their other names, they were called Anakim, from one Anak which came of the Nephilim (Numbers 13:23), and Rephaim, from Rapha, another notable one among them.
From Deuteronomy 2:10-12, they were known by some as Emim, and Horim, and Zamzummim (verses 19-23) and Avim, etc.
As Rephaim they were well known, and are often mentioned: but, unfortunately, instead of this, their proper name, being preserved, it is variously translated as "dead", "deceased", or "giants". These Rephaim are to have no resurrection. This fact is stated in Isaiah 26:14 (where the proper name is rendered "deceased", and verse 19, where it is rendered "the dead").
It is rendered "dead" seven times (Job 26:5. Psalm 88:10. Proverbs 2:18; 9:18; 21:16. Isaiah 14:8; 26:19).
It is rendered "deceased" in Isaiah 26:14.
It is retained as proper name "Rephaim" ten times (two being in the margin). Genesis 14:5; 15:20. Joshua 12:15 (margin). 2Samuel 5:18,22; 23:13. 1Chronicles 11:15; 14:9; 20:4 (margin). Isaiah 17:5.
In all other places it is rendered "giants", Genesis 6:4, Numbers 23:33, where it is Nephilim; and Job 16:14, where it is gibbor (Appendix 14. iv).
By reading all these passages the Bible student may know all that can be known about these beings.
It is certain that the second irruption took place before Genesis 14, for there the Rephaim were mixed up with the five nations or peoples, which included Sodom and Gomorrha, and were defeated by the four kings under Chedorlaomer. Their principal locality was evidently "Ashtaroth Karnaim"; while the Emim were in the plain of Kiriathaim (Genesis 14:5).
Anak was a noted descendant of the Nephilim; and Rapha was another, giving their names respectively to different clans. Anak's father was Arba, the original builder of Hebron (Genesis 35:27. Joshua 15:13; 21:11); and this Palestine branch of the Anakim was not called Arbahim after him, but Anakim after Anak. They were great, mighty, and tall (Deuteronomy 2:10,11,21,22,23; 9:2), evidently inspiring the ten spies with great fear (Numbers 12:33). Og king of Bashan is described in Deuteronomy 3:11.
Their strength is seen in "the giant cities of Bashan" to-day; and we know not how far they may have been utilized by Egypt in the construction of buildings, which is still an unsolved problem.
Arba was rebuilt by the Khabiri or confederates seven years before Zoan was built by Egyptian Pharoahs of the nineteenth dynasty. See note on Numbers 13:22.
If these Nephilim, and their branch of Rephaim, were associated with Egypt, we have an explanation of the problem which has for ages perplexed all engineers, as to how those huge stones and monuments were brought together. Why not in Egypt as well as in "the giant cities of Bashan" which exist, as such, to this day?
Moreover, we have in these mighty men, the "men of renown," the explanation of the origin of the Greek mythology. That mythology was no mere invention of the human brain, but it grew out of the traditions, and memories, and legends of the doings of that mighty race of beings; and was gradually evolved out of the "heroes" of Genesis 6:4. The fact that they were supernatural in their origin formed an easy step to their being regarded as the demi-gods of the Greeks.
Thus the Babylonian "Creation Tablets", the Egyptian "Book of the dead", the Greek mythology, and heathen Cosmogonies, which by some are set on an equality with Scripture, or by others adduced in support of it, are all the corruption and perversion of primitive truths, distorted in proportion as their origin was forgotten, and their memories faded away.
