I know that God will heal me and hear this prayer. Please pray for me and my 3 children. I am having a very hard time right now. I have been in a car accident that has left me unable to walk and in need of surgery and am all alone after leaving my abusive husband. he hurt me and the children and now we are under a temporary protection order until court in November. He has given us many threats and I am scared for us. I am going to lose my home if I cannot come up with my rent quickly and my electric is going to be cut off and my heat is not on. dear God we are low on food and I am in need of warm clothing for the children. please pray for us . Heavenly father please find a way to see us through .

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

God Bless you Kitty. DO you have any Christian friends and or a Christian CHruch near you that you can call for help?? What about family? there must be somebody who can help you. This why fellowship is important. If we all stay active in our fellowship in our faith then we can all help each other when things get tough. Nobody can get through this life alone

Yeah, it's good to find a good fellowship nearby. Any of us would be more than happy to point you in the right direction if you have questions about finding a fellowship.

Where are you from tigerkitty, minnesota has laws prohibiting utility companies from turning off people's heat in cold months when they cannot afford their bill. If I know what state you are from, I will look into it and see if there is anything that can be done to get your heat turned on. I would like to help you in any way that I can. I could mail you some sweaters or something, just let me know, feel free to PM me.

Praying for you Tigerkitty. Good suggestions so far. How about a Salvation Army or a Union Mission? Do you know of one of those close by? Or a Health and Human Resources Deparment (usually a State Agency)? They are set up to help people who have come upon hard times. They maybe able to offer some assistance to you and your family.
