need your prayers

Today is or I guess would be our 13th Wedding Anniversary. My husband has been gone from me a little over one year. Strangely enough I think today is even worse than it was last year. I am so lonley. I miss him so much. After 15 months the pain is still horrible. I don't want to be in this horrible place for the rest of my life, but it just doesn't seem to be getting much better. Some days are a little better,but for the most part they are all pretty bad.
I had to go shopping earlier today and the woman that was behind me in line just happened to mention that today was her 51 Wedding anniversary. What did I do to deserve only eleven years with my husband. I have never wanted very much in life; just someone to love and be loved by. Guess that is too much to ask for.

May you find that to be alone is not necessarily to be lonely, because we are never alone in Him. Thanks for your responseand your prayers. It is funny that you mentioned "hinds feet" in your post, reminded me that one of my favorite books as a teenager was "Hinds feet on high places". I may try to find another copy and read it again.

Help this beautiful couple to understand that a vocation is not only a matter of attraction...

Enable them to see clearly that it is also a matter of finding, in ordinary events, Our Sweetest Father God's will for them and then accepting it even if it seems to be baffling and contrary to their wishes...

Teach those called to the marriage state by the Lord to reflect deeply on the delicate choice that will influence their destiny...

Let them not be deceived by their feelings...
