Honestly I can't remember that far back - my youngest is 11. However, just want to note that sometimes excessive vomiting after eating may indicate an allergy. This seems to be more common in formula fed babies, and I don't know how you are feeding your baby. Anyway, something to consider.

Perhaps while feeding, burp your baby more frequently? Or maybe there is a bottle (if you are bottle feeding) that results in less air? Just throwing some thoughts out there.

Definitely look into allergies, whether the baby is formula fed or breastfed, this can be helpful for spit up. I always had trouble burping mine, but my SIL could get a burp out practically as soon as she picked them up.
