i feel its time to quit smoking. after 3 years of it and multiple failed attempts. the other times i tried to quit i didnt ask for prayer, and since prayer always works im asking for yous guyses prayers. im going to rely on prayer to stop this smelly habit. thanks to all whos praying

Praying for you. I bet it's safe to say that all of us on this board who have quit would tell you it took a lot of tries before we finally were able to do it. Prayer is a big part of that so I'll keep you in prayer. Hang in there, it seems like the discomfort and urges will go on forever, but that's a lie. They do get easier and better and eventually you'll find your just not thinking about it anymore.

My prayers are with you. I know for me I had to go the medical help route as well as spiritual. I am now 30 days smoke free after a 24 year 2 packs a day habit.

I will pray for you. I have never smoked, but am highly allergic to the stuff.

Also, just remember that the cravings only last for a few minutes. If you can get through those few minutes, you will do well. Set up something else for you to do to get through those craving periods. I believe there may be some advice for quitting smoking on the Internet, if you run a search engine on that topic. I'm sure people who have actually quit can give better advice than I can. May God bless you in this!

I pray thatGod will give you the strength to over come know that you can do all things through Christ who strengths you. I didn't want to say this but is leading liek I have/need to you can't just rely on our prayer you have to also be praying yourself.God honors when you pray for yourself it shows him that you truly want to stop and it's for real.I will be in Prayer for you God is wacthing over you and heards you cry but talk to him tell him how you feel prayer now is needed so much we all including me should be prayer when we get the time I know as I said before it goes for me too. I am supporting you and saying Yes you can do it with God's hel, and your prayers plus ours to him even though yours is more important.
