Need Some Knowledge

After hanging around the science and evolution threads for sometime I realize I really don't know all that much about anything. I'm not satisfied with being ignorant and I want to do something about it but I don't know where to start.
Being on here and the general philosophy threads made me realize that I'm too bias ignorant and my logic and justifications and arguments are weak.
I'm not proud to admit this but instead of staying narrow minded and remaining as I am I want to challenge my beliefs and preconceive notions and maybe learn something.
Anyone know any resources I can use to learn ?

If you go back to the beginning, God explains a general knowledge of it.
If you want a more "science-y" explanation of our universe and the beginning there is a good video to watch. It is long at 1hr 20 minutes but is a lecture given by Dr. Jason Lisle. Think of it as a God/Science college class.

QFT but I would also advise the OP to read the Wisdom books of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. Let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth.

As a starting point an open minded approach should paradoxically disregard comments made in this thread of conflating religion with science.

Science has its origins from the philosophy of naturalism which states every event has a natural cause without the reliance on the supernatural for an explanation.
Naturalism developed from Greek philosophy (and possibly earlier under Hinduism) and according to Aristotle states;

Modern science disregards the final statement as it does not define a purpose but only attempts to explain “how” and not “why”.
The “why” part or the lack of it depends on the opinion of the individual and is unfalsifiable as it cannot be proven or disproven.
The opinion is a faith based argument and not based on science.

You are correct, I always held the position that science is a method of understanding the natural world the supernatural is its own separate issue.
Of course I could be wrong about God but that's what I'm trying to check.
