Hello! Ever since I was very little I have wanted to write a book. I recently got seriously started on a book a year and a half ago and have over 18,000 words and some 40 types pages. However, I have not picked it up in around 8-10 months or so. Last night I began again, reworking plot, deleting areas, etc. This is the first of this "new book" I am working on from the skeleton of the old one. Any and all advice will be EXTREMELY appreciated! THANK YOU!
Oh, and the chapters aren't that short (except 1). Ch. 2 has LOTS more to be done with it.
It thrills me that this book has found its way into your hands, friend! This text is transformed, by the grace and power of God Almighty, into the language of the reader. The names, too, are translated as accurately as possible (which is not saying much for some languages, unfortunately). Nifty, no? The words are transformed by Him, the same One who created all there is!
Ah, the mysteries of the Universe are great and many. Not a one has plumbed its depths but God Himself. He created and creates it. How marvelous! Glory be to God!
Granted, of course, the Grand Academies know far more than you do of the Universe, or a single breathing mortal on any single world, for that matter. Its mysteries are tremendous, and we have only scratched the surface. If only you knew! So very marvelous, indeed! Splendid! Superb! O! What a wondrous God we have! Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages! Glory! Glory!
But enough! I ramble! You will surely notice this as you read. Forgive me.
As I close, take heed, friend, dearest reader, my love, that these events chronicle the Last Days of the world of Irelim, for it was as God said. Accompanied by the grace of God, the constant prayers of the monks and nuns of your home keep your wretched and sinful world from the dread Judgment Day. The Final Perils have yet to grace your home. The End has not yet occurred on your world. But it will. Just wait, and may God shed His loving mercy upon you when such time comes your way.
The grace of your Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
Once upon a time in a faraway world (since, most assuredly, all worlds containing intelligent life are vastly distanced from one another by the hand of God)
A beauteous white dove, cooing softly as it glided down, landed and perched ever so sweetly upon the shoulder of the human as he hummed wistfully to himself under a tree. His body was strong, yet oh so very gentle. His skin of solid black seemed to be a grand luxury to merely touch, even if it might leave your pure white hand stained with darkness forever from partaking of such a deliciously delightful sin. The mere thought could cloud your mind as so to pull you through the earth and into the bowels of Hell.

The eyes of this man opened slowly. His eyelids revealed the secrets of God hidden beneath, the orbs of a shocking sky blue pierced the darkness of the night as they radiated with the vibrancy to shatter your soul. He began to speak, but closed his beautiful lips as the holy dove began emanating its being and its thoughts merged with his until they could communicate as if they shared the same mind and the same soul and the same body, working perfectly in harmony.

The man felt his body lifted, and it felt strange and normal simultaneously. He was used to my visits. We flew over the trees and into the sky in such bliss that seemed like it would never end going through the clouds and through life as everything swirled around us with such an unholy beauty that could not be contained but was all the while a horrific site and we glided and flew and swam in such a sea of lustful bliss that we never wanted to end but it could never be helped and we went on and on never ceasing we needed this beauty this love this lust it was so beautiful and we swam through the heavens and plumbed the secrets God withholds from us and experienced such indescribable beauty and such elation. Until we descended. Back down. Into the forest. Landing softly. A few feet. From his log cabin. He became himself. Again.
Slowly he could once more feel his humanoid form, disjointed and broken but all at once beautiful and whole, a deep mystery of a pure love that we could never begin to fathom.
He peered down at his doorstep to find a golden envelope tied together with silvery ribbon and outlined in a simply divine blood red. It glowed with yellow light. He picked it up gently, unfolding the flap and pulling the letter out which was written on paper of pure gold and in ink of true silver, a personal testament to the glories of God.

His body became elated as he read the words, though his heart felt weak and sore and wounded, and his mind troubled at such thoughts.

It was time. The divine and loving hand of God would caress the world, obliterating all the wretched sinners.

Chapter II
The Beginning of the End
When, O Lord, will the world come to an end? asked Dwarf.
And the Lord answered him, saying, Why do you ask such questions? Do you not trust in Me?
To this Dwarf replied, Forgive me, Master, and he prostrated himself forty times before the Lord our God.
War shall come to the world. My creation will turn against all of you. Ravenous hunger shall creep upon My children. When these things come to pass, know that I, the Lord your God, am near, and that Leûhn is at hand.
God kneeled on dusty ground and warmly embraced Dwarf.
- St. Dwarf, 12:1-8
Adder sire, adder sire, don't come down! Adder sire, adder sire, leave without a sound! The children chanted gleefully and danced around in an enjoined circle. The woman grinned widely at the children from under the dark shadow of the golden tree, its leaves shimmering under the warm offshoots of the Bright Child that warmed the world. She leaned backwards and stretched, laying on the ground to behold the sea of royalty above her, ready to collapse on top of her world and drown her in bliss. She sighed heavily and fiddled with her long, pointed ears. The tall, slender luminance that was her rolled around in the grass and she giggled to herself. Why is life so beautiful? she asked aloud. The wind picked up then, creating a tempest in the golden sea above, a reassuring answer from God.

She sighed again blissfully and sat upright, flipping the flowing red hair from her ghostly blueberry face. With a sudden start, she jolted upward and grabbed hold of a lower branch. The elf effortlessly glided upward through the sea of riches, from limb to limb, finally plopping on a thin branch near the top. She reached into a hole and brought forth a small, simple book. Her smile grew only wider and happier, and I did not think such a thing were possible. I chirped and landed on her shoulder, to which she laughed aloud and sighed another of her happy sighs I find so charming. Her thin and healthy fingers flipped to the opening page, which read:
We love you with all our hearts, Ciyniel.
Love always,
Sahliahn and Hiraesla
Another of her sighs. Then she decided to flip through the pages, stopping on whim and reading aloud. 'The Lord is a merciful and benevolent God. Never shall he abandon you. He gives unto you the rich blessings and the sorrowful sighs. Praise be to God!

After reading this she frowned and crossed her brow, her heart-shaped lips pursing and contorting her round cheeks. She gave a bit of a huff, so I jumped to a nearby branch and she glided back down through the now still sea.
