The OT law and commandments were nailed to the cross. We now life by faith and not by the letter of the Law. Pork does not make one unclean. Now if one cannot eat pork without faith to them it is sin. The food itself is not sin,.
The OT Law and commandments were not the things nailed to the cross. I was right, you have no idea what was nailed to the cross.
Vultures, rats, snakes, dogs, pigs and any other thing declared to be unclean meat in the Bible is not FOOD.
(A) I tell the SDA's that ritual Saturday worship was instuited by Moses, and it was a regulation of the Mosaic and Davidic covenants.
(B) Okay, the same goes for your pork regulation: It is a regulation of the Mosaic and Davidic covenants. .
C)
(C) Different rules for different groups and their respective covenants.
Have you not read that all things are new? Jesus fulfilled the law and it was nailed to the cross with Him. Now we are under a new covenant. His blood. Not the old letter of the law.
The answer to your question is basically the same thing I tell the SDA's regarding their insistance on Saturday Sabbath worship:
I tell the SDA's that ritual Saturday worship was instuited by Moses, and it was a regulation of the Mosaic and Davidic covenants. We are not entered into those covenants and we are not subject to those regulations. We are entered into the coventant established by Christ, and ritual Saturday worship is not a regulation of Christ's covenant.
Okay, the same goes for your pork regulation: It is a regulation of the Mosaic and Davidic covenants. We are not entered into those covenants and we are not subject to those regulations. We are entered into the coventant established by Christ, and He never commanded that we follow such rules.
Different rules for different groups and their respective covenants.
(A) The Sabbath was instituted at the creation of man and was restated weeks before the Old Covenent was made. Check out Ex. 16 starting in about verse 4.
(B) Wrong again. Clean and unclean meat laws had always been in effect.
Notice Gen. 7:2. God tells Noah to take seven of every clean animal onto the ark.
(C) Wrong again. God is not a respector of persons. He treats us all the same.
By the way what book are you getting this stuff out of. Obviously it's not the Bible.
Your group has just restylized the old regime into another set of rituals......
Wrong. It would have been correct if you had said: "Your Church has adopted rituals that are consistant with the Godpel".
There, thats better. Get it right next time
That depends on ones point of view.
The Orthodox Church for example says your Church/Denomination has adopted dogmas/rituals that are non consistant with Scriptures.
Jesus supersedes any prior law or covenant.Mar 7:18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Perceive ye not, that whatsoever from without goeth into the man, it cannot defile him;
Mar 7:19 because it goeth not into his heart, but into his belly, and goeth out into the draught? This he said, making all meats clean.
Mar 7:20 And he said, That which proceedeth out of the man, that defileth the man.
It is quite simple,..
Jesus supersedes any prior law or covenant.
As a born again Christian, we are under the law of Christ now, not the curse of the law of moses anymore, we died to it and have been risen in newness of life in Christ.
That depends on ones point of view.
The Orthodox Church for example says your Church/Denomination has adopted dogmas/rituals that are non consistant with Scriptures.....
But I'm right. They're wrong.
You would think that scripture would be the answer. When Peter had the vision, he also came to an understanding of the vision and what it meant. . As He said, and it is recorded in scripture... it was to call no man unclean...
There are truths in the OT that were fulfilled by Christ. Some people can't be bothered with the truth.
They would rather believe the false teaching of man than the truth of God.
I explained all that step by step in Post # 11.
