Need prayers

My boyfriend's Christian band has been invited to play a show with a bunch of other bands who are considered "satanic". It's strange that they were invited, being that they're Christian, and I feel weird about it. Please pray that nothing bad comes of this.

I remember when I posted a thread requesting a prayer for myself how good it felt knowing that people were behind me, praying for me. The fact that I did not know any of them made that bit more special because the truth was that people I did not even know were still willing to give up their time to pray for me.

Therefore, I am going to pay this forward and I pray for you, your boyfriend, his band and that all goes well. I pray his band will shine and stand out as something special.

I pray that God will place a hedge of protection placed around your boyfriend and the other members of his band of his band, that God will bless them. May the power of the Holy Spirit make their performance be outstanding in such a way that people in the audience will be mightily impacted and want to seek the Living God.

It's wise to be cautious, and recognize the forces out there, and ask for serious prayer. At the same time, Jesus walked into the dark pits all the time. May Jesus be there with him. Remember Shadrach, Meshech and Abednego's furnace gig....they came out unscarred.

Christians can come up with a lot of shoulds, so set all those aside and help him make it work.

Have you ever heard the conversion stories of some of the band celebs who are now Christian? Amazing things happen backstage.

Lord, we ask for a shield of protection over bf's band and equipment. May they soften the hearts of all those listening, and may your glory surround them. Drive away all fears, and may they move out in proactive confidence. Open opportunities for them to minister healing and reconciliation through their music.

Gracious Loving Father I come to your throne of grace lifting up each christian in this band, Lord I ask that you protect them from the wiles of the devil in doing this, that you Use this band for Your Glory and the building up of your kingdom , that some may come to know You Lord Jesus as their saviour .

Touch each member and heavly anoint each one, that the lost will feel the presense of God around each individual in this band, so much so that they will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that these brethren are just what they say they are, Christians. Let them be a powerful testimony to you Lord , of your love grace and mercy in Christ's precious name I do ask it all amen and amen

This I know...that God can make things happen in what appears to be a bad situation. Before you know it, the rest of the bands could be coming out this situation PLAYING CHRISTIAN MUSIC, and you might end up with a SUPER GROUP for the Lord!!

Praise the Lord! Lord Father in Heaven,

Let this band be a weapon of the kingdom of heaven, standing pure in the midst of a sea of lechery, a radiant light shining from next to a standpot of darkness. Lord, i pray that this christian band will be able to pour out the heart of hte Lord Jesus Christ so that all who are at the gig, christian and non-christian alike, can sense a difference in the members of this band compared to their counterparts. Lord I ask you to give the band members strength to sing and play to the glory of the kingdom, and to outshine the darkness. Father, I pray that you use this band to advance the kingdom, and to win souls to the Glory of God! In Jesus' Amen!
